Our client operates a transportation business for distributing paints across various locations in India. With five warehouses located in different parts of the country and an office at a separate location, the client manages a complex distribution network.
The client's transportation business involves delivering paints from depots to customers. Traditionally, the client manually prepared physical invoices, stamped them, and sent them along with the driver for dispatch. To modernize and streamline this process, the client sought to develop a mobile application that would automate invoicing, provide real-time updates to customers, and facilitate feedback collection upon delivery.
We developed a mobile application tailored to the needs of both the depots and the clients. The app included an admin panel for depot staff to enter dispatch details such as vehicle number and driver contact information. Customers could access the app to view their invoices, receive status updates on transportation, and provide feedback upon delivery.
One of the main challenges we encountered was integrating invoice details from SAP, the client's existing system, into our app. Transferring data from SAP to our server posed technical difficulties that required innovative solutions.
